Douglas E. Fedor, age 67, of Conneaut died Saturday July 22, 2017 at the David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland, after a long and courageous battle with bone marrow cancer.

Doug was born on February 13, 1950 to Edward and Angeline (Parma) Fedor.  He was a graduate of Conneaut High School.  Doug enlisted into the United States Army in 1970, where he drove ammunition trucks in Germany during the Vietnam War, until he was honorably discharged in 1972.

Doug was a member of Corpus Christi Parish.  He enjoyed building and remodeling homes.  Doug loved motorcycles and “Bike Nights”, building motorcycle and car motors from scratch, restoring old cars and spending time with family and friends.  Doug was always willing to help someone out in need and he was known as “Mr. Fix it” at his winter home in Hudson, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his father. 

Doug is survived by his daughter Cassie Eaton of Madison, mother Angeline Parma of Conneaut, niece and god daughter Dr. Jessica DeMarco of Painesville, long time caregiver and friend Connie Fedor of Conneaut, his favorite little dog Harley and several cousins.

At Doug’s request no calling hours will be observed.  A Celebration of Doug’s life is being planned and will be announced.

Arrangements are being handled by the Raisian Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 581 Harbor St., Conneaut.
