We're so sorry for your loss, Cassie and Connie. Doug was quite a guy. The best memory ever has to be Doug and Cassie doing their dance number at the wedding. What a hoot! He loved you both so much. We'll miss him.

I was lucky to know Doug 7th thru 12th. A funny, sweet guy with a big heart.

My sympathy to his family and all those he touched.

He is looking down from heaven, smiling with a twinkle in his eye.

I thoroughly enjoyed Doug during our high school days; he was so fun, unpredictable and a wild & crazy guy! We all loved Dougie. He consistently lived life on his terms. The last time I saw Doug was several years ago at a class reunion at the American Legion. When the song Loco-Motion by Little Eva was played, Doug (pony-tail, leather jacket and all) started the dance train and it was hysterical. The song got played twice at Doug's request. Since that night, every time I hear that song, I have vivid memories of Doug and the long line of dancing classmates. It was so Doug!

To all of Doug's family.....I am deeply sorry you have lost this free spirit from your lives. No doubt you will all ache for him, but what a unique and special guy he was and your lives are so rich in many ways because he was born.

Fly far, wide and high, my friend. You were always such a free spirit.

Fondly,
Peggy Rickard

Doug has always been one of my favorite people. We hadn't seen each other "in person" for years but have known each other for many years...from back when we were the "coolest" around. Love you, Doug. Blessings to all his family. Hard to imagine the sorrow....
