Juell Wright, age 98 of Conneaut, died Saturday evening, December 3, 2016, at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home.

Juell was born May 6, 1918 in Herminie, PA, the daughter of Wasyl Charles Zubryd and Kathryn Novak.

Juell was a member of Corpus Christi Parish and enjoyed reading and word puzzles. For 25 years Juell worked at the Premix Corporation in production as an assembler and finisher until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Elmer “Dutch” Wright, whom she married July 7, 1941, a brother Joseph Zubryd and Michael Zubryd and three sisters Mariann, Helen and Olga.

Juell is survived by her son Dennis C. and Janet Wright, of The Villages, Fl., and her daughter LuAnn and Raymond “Yankee” Furman of Kingsville. Two brothers Daniel Zubryd of Mendon, MI., and Harry Zubryd of Pittsburgh, a sister Agnes Cebulko of Trenton, N.J., grandchildren Christopher and Samantha Lampela of Conneaut, Paula and Christopher Hamric of Naperville, Ill., and four great-grandchildren, Harper, Henry, Owen and Ben.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Greenlawn Mausoleum, Rt. 20, N. Kingsville, with Fr. Philip Miller of Corpus Christi Parish officiating. 

Memorial contributions in Juell’s memory can be made to the Animal Protective League of Ashtabula County. Envelopes are available at the Raisian Family Funeral Home, 581 Harbor St, Conneaut, Ohio where arrangements are being handled.
