Margaret Shauberger, age 86 of Jefferson, died Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland, Ohio.

Margaret was born on July 1, 1930 in Sheffield, the daughter of John and Mary Mako Stasko. She attended Kingsville School and later worked many jobs while raising her seven children, along with her late husband Leroy Shauberger, whom she married August 1, 1951.

Margaret was a member of St. Andrews Church and the Women of the Church.  She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary Firehouse Sheffield where her husband was also a volunteer Firefighter for many years. Margaret was a former member of the Red Hat Society and a lifetime member of the V.F.W. of Ashtabula. With seven children, Margaret dedicated her life to her family.  She was always baking, doing laundry and cleaning her house. Margaret was a loving caregiver to all. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leroy in 1969, four sons, Robert Shauberger, Leroy Shauberger, Raymond Shauberger, David Shauberger and a brother Paul Stasko.

Margaret is survived by two sons, Jeffrey and Natalie Shauberger of Jefferson, John Shauberger of Jefferson, a daughter Diana Vanek of Jefferson, five grandchildren, Raymond and Heather Shauberger, Jeffrey Shauberger, Leroy Shauberger, Kimberly Jackson, Jonathan Shauberger, four great-grandchildren, Gabby Jackson, Lyndsey Jackson, Zachary Jackson and Devin Shauberger, a sister Dolores Bowers of Jefferson and a brother Donald Stasko of Ashtabula.

At Margaret’s request there will be no calling

Mass of the Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Sept 16, 2016, at St. Andrews Church, 3700 Rt. 193, Kingsville, with Fr. John Sheridan officiating.

Burial will follow at Gageville Cemetery.
