Norma Jean Specht, age 82 of Conneaut, died Sunday morning, May 21, 2017 at the Villa at the Lake, where she had resided for the past few years.

Norma was born on December 13, 1934 in Conneaut the daughter of Michael and Anna Dosick Valenti. She was a 1952 graduate of Conneaut High School.  Norma’s was a loving wife, mother and grandmother for most of her life. She worked for a short time at the former Goldette’s and Astatic Corporation.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Margaret “Peggy” Partee and her husband Francis “Gerald” Specht.

Norma is survived by one grandson Blaine Partee of Oviedo, Fla, along with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at the Raisian Family Funeral Home, 581 Harbor Street, Conneaut. 

Funeral services will be held following the visitation on Wednesday at 1:00 pm. at the Raisian Family Funeral Home, with Fr. Philip Miller of Corpus Christi Parish officiating.

Burial will take place at the convenience of the family at St. Joseph Cemetery, Conneaut.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve.  Envelopes will be available the funeral home.
