Patricia E. King, age 75 of Conneaut died Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at her home with family by her side.

          Patty was born on December 18, 1941 in Youngstown, Ohio the daughter of Charles and Chloe (Davis) Spencer. She was a 1959 graduate of Brookfield High School.  She was a former volunteer for the American Red Cross and was most notably known as “the boss of 82 Harrington Point”, where she loved raising her family on Lake Erie. 

          She was a member of Corpus Christ Parish and attended St. Frances Cabrini Church.  Patty was also a member of the Dining Diva’s in Conneaut and the Card Club in Brookfield, Ohio. 

          Patty loved to swim in Lake Erie and once water skied from Harrington Point to Ashtabula and back behind her father’s boat.  Her lifelong dream was to live on Lake Erie and she accomplished that.  As grandma, she loved to put on her ruby red lips and watch all the kids play. 

          She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Jacob King, a sister Janine Vendemia and a nephew Matthew Zolnier.

          Patty is survived by her husband, David King whom she married on September 25, 1959 at St. John Church in Sharon, PA, two sons Chuck King of Masury, Ohio and Craig (Joann) King of Conneaut, one daughter Paula Gayle Grimm of Conneaut, two sister Kathy (James) Zolnier of San Ramon, CA and Carole (Chuck) Carrier of Brookfield, Ohio, grandchildren Sam, Charley (Andrea), Katelyn, Jesse, Brody, David and Duke (Annie), great grandchildren Cody, Cassie, Jameson, Zachary, Cannon and a great-great grandson Sylis.

          At Patty’s request a Celebration of Life will take place later this summer. 

          Memorial contributions may be made in Patty’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.  Envelopes will be available at the Raisian Family Funeral Home, 581 Harbor St., Conneaut, where arrangements are being handled
