Virginie M. Boster, age 81 of Conneaut, died Saturday, December 31, 2016 at University Hospitals Cleveland.

          Virginie was born on July 10, 1935 in Amsterdam, Netherlands the daughter of John and Alida (Slaman) Wynands.  She met and married her husband Ron Boster on November 24, 1954 in Amsterdam and she came to the United States in 1955. 

          Virginie worked for 16 years at the former Astatic Corp. and for many years at the Conneaut K-mart primarily in the layaway department until her retirement.  In her spare time, she loved taking care of her flowers and yard work.

         She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Greet and Ida and a brother Leonard Wynands.

          Virginie is survived by her husband Ron Boster of Conneaut, sons Edwin Boster of Conneaut, Pat and Melissa Boster of Conneaut, a daughter Rhonda Brundage of Conneaut and two grandchildren Virginia and Ryan.

          Private funeral services were held at the Raisian Family Funeral Home, 581 Harbor St., Conneaut.  Burial services followed at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Route 20, N. Kingsville.
