Agnes A. Fields

Agnes Ann Fields age 90 passed away on April 4, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Agnes was born on December 24, 1933, in Conneaut, the daughter of Benjamin and Katherine (Snyder) Golaszewski.  She was a graduate of Conneaut High School.  She worked at the former Ohio Theater in downtown Conneaut, the Astatic Corp for 7 years and 30 years at Transplastics until her retirement. 

Agnes was a member of Corpus Christi Parish.  She was an avid NASCAR racing fan.  She enjoyed word games and going on bus trips.  She also enjoyed going to casinos.  Agnes especially loved watching her children grow up and later enjoy all her grandchildren and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Fields in 1988, sisters Helen Tharp, Millie Hall, infant siblings Julia, Mary Ann and Bernard, and brother Peter Golaszewski. 

Agnes is survived by four sons, Robert Fields, Conneaut, Timothy and Karen Fields, Conneaut, Kenneth and Brenda Fields, Conneaut, Douglas Fields, Conneaut, daughter Julie and Jeff Myers, Conneaut, grandchildren Kayla Fields, Ariel (Alex) Bartlett, Tina Curtiss, Jennifer Detwiler, Tim  Jr. and Michelle Fields, Rory Fields, Maggie Fields, Alli (Steve) Flack, Kori (Tyler) Howard, Zachary (Megan) Myers, Jeremy (Megan) Myers, Holly Fields, great grandchildren Tanner, Alivia, Samantha, Cameron, Reese, Bodhi, Benjamin, Braylee, Beckham, Berkley, Addie, Aubree, Eloise, Margot and a great -great-granddaughter Everleigh. Agnes is also survived by her special nieces and nephews, Nancy Sullivan, Leslie Thomas, Greg Hall, Steve Tharp, and a daughter-in-law Cindy Brewster.

Visitation will be held from Tuesday, April 9, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Raisian Funeral Home, 581 Harbor Street, Conneaut.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, with Deacon Nicholas Iarocci officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Route 20, N. Kingsville, Ohio.
