Jennie L. Richcreek

          Jennie L. Richcreek age 100 formerly of Conneaut passed away on April 1, 2024 at the Avenue at Aurora Care and Rehabilitation Center, Aurora, Ohio.

          Jennie was born on March 8, 1924 in Conneaut the daughter of Frank and Mary Gurto Charles.  Following high school, she married her husband, Howard K. Richcreek on August 1, 1942 and together they raised their family. 

          Jennie was a housewife and loved the time she spent with her family and grandchildren.  She enjoyed reading, doing crafts and years ago, dancing.  She was a member of Corpus Christi Parish.

          Jennie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Howard K. Richcreek in 2004, brothers Joseph, Anthony, James and Richard Charles, sisters Rose Giangola, Lucille Benn, Ann Jones and Madeline Ruffers.

          She is survived by her daughter Mary A. Booth of Streetsboro, Ohio, grandson Anthony (Angel) Booth of Cleveland and granddaughter Brittany Booth of Masury, Ohio, sister Barbara Arcaro of Conneaut and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

          Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at the Raisian Funeral Home, 581 Harbor Street, Conneaut.

          Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024 at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 744 Mill Street, with Father Philip Miller of Corpus Christi Parish officiating.

          Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Route 20, N. Kingsville, Ohio.
