Edwin R. Boster, age 60, of Conneaut died Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Ashtabula County Medical Center.

Edwin was born December 15, 1956 in Meadville, PA, the son of Ronald and Virginie (Wynands) Boster.  He was a 1974 graduate of Conneaut High School, and enlisted in the United States Navy in 1974 where he served on the Stonewall Jackson Submarine until he was honorably discharged in 1980.

Edwin enjoyed anything that had to do with cars.  He loved to drag race, detail and work on them.  He enjoyed watching Nascar, the Cleveland Browns, and some of his favorite tv shows were MASH, Star Trek and the old SNL shows.  Edwin also had a great passion for classic rock music, especially AC/DC, Pink Floyd and Eric Clapton.

He is preceded in death by his mother Virginie Boster in 2016.

Edwin is survived by his father Ronald Boster of Conneaut, daughter Virginnia Boster and Ricardo Richard of FL, son Ryan and Rebecca Boster of FL and one brother, Pat and Melissa Boster of Conneaut.

Calling hours will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 25, 2017 at the Raisian Family Funeral Home, 581 Harbor St., Conneaut.

Burial of cremains will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville, where the American Legion Honor Squad will conduct military honors.
