Jacqualine “Lee” Armeni, age 93, died early Thursday morning, June 1, 2017 in Geneva.

Lee was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 14, 1924 the daughter of Joseph and Mary Webster Anena. She was a 1936 graduate of Northeastern High School.

While living in Florida, Lee married her late husband Arnold A. Armeni and they returned to Conneaut to raise their family.  Lee worked for the former Emco Wheaton Corporation and the Hercules Company.

Lee was a member of Corpus Christi Parish and attended mass at St. Mary Church. She was an avid bingo player and loved to bowl, play cards and poker. She also was a member of the ‘Cara Mia Club” and volunteered for many years helping at various church activities.

Lee was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arnold A. Armeni in 1993, her son Arnie A. Armeni Jr., in 2000, a brother Vincent Richer and a sister Dolly Armeni.

She is survived by two sons, Joseph and Karen Armeni of North Kingsville and Peter and Gina Armeni of Louisville, KY, grandchildren Jacki, Joey, James and Matt, great grandchildren, Samantha, Ryan, Alissa, Joey, Danielle , numerous great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 480 State Street, Conneaut with Father Philip Miller of Corpus Christi Parish officiating.

 Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Route 20, Conneaut.
