Joanne Marie Ferl age 87 of Conneaut died Saturday, November 18, 2017.  Joanne was with her sons Robert Joseph Ferl and James Everett Ferl  at home in Conneaut Ohio.

She was preceded in death  by her parents Louise and Horace Rositer, her grandson Samuel Robert Ferl and her husband Joseph Edward Ferl.

Joanne worked for many years as a nurse in the office of Dr. Zimmerman. She later became an agent for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company until her retirement in 1987.  Joanne enjoyed singing with her friends as a member of the MacDowell Ensemble. She liked to golf with her best friend June Miller and she especially loved to swim with her family at the beach.

She is survived by her sons, grandsons Evan, Toby and Jesse, as well as her siblings Nancy, Sally, Danny and Ellen.

A memorial service will take place at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at St. Francis Cabrini Church, with Fr. Phillip Miller officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Conneaut.
