Kathleen “Boppy” Edwards, age 76 of Conneaut, died unexpectedly Tuesday April 4, 2017 at her residence. 

Kathleen was born on December 29, 1940 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of Raymond and Rosalie (White) Phillips.  After receiving her GED, she attained her Associates Degree in Business from The Utica School of Commerce.

She worked at St. Frances Cabrini Church Rectory as a bookkeeper, Tony’s Golden Anchor as a cook/prep, the former City News and most recently she retired from Precise Plastics as a bookkeeper and accountant. 

Kathleen was a member of The Federated Church in East Springfield.  She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, word games and reading the Bible.  She loved spending time with friends, family and especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Gayle Campbell and Carrol Toland. 

Kathleen is survived by her daughters Summer Cochran of Conneaut, Amber Summers of Conneaut, Gina Zonnevylle of New York, a son Blake (Amy) Edwards of Warren, Ohio, two brothers Michael Lahowe of Cleveland and Michael (Bonnie) Phillips of Columbus, three sisters Laurie (Doyle) McCormick of Oregon, Melanie Bidwell of Pennsylvania and Patty Stites, eleven grandchildren Ansley, Kyle, Skye, Rayne, T.J., Zack, Derek, Aschlee, Tristan, Nikki and Charlie and three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. at the Raisian Family Funeral Home, 581 Harbor St., Conneaut. 

A Memorial service will be held Tuesday evening, following visitation at 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home officiated by Pastor Ed Huntley of The Federated Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
