So sorry to hear about Kathy's passing. We shared a lot of "growing up" memories since our parents were both in the All Twos class at Amboy UMC. We visited each other's homes and were a part of a lot of church activities, Sunday school class, etc. I sang at Kenna's wedding.
I am sure she will be missed by many. My prayers are with all of the family.

She was the best bus driver she was tough and you knew when she said to do something you better do it. I'll never forget my parents made me bring my old clothes to some less fortunate girls and I was embarrassed and didn't want anybody to see me giving the clothes to these girls for fear I would be picked on(I was 8 so don't judge). Mrs. Tackett told me to put them in the front seat and gave the girls the clothes for me and a couple days later she handed me a card from the girls and told me to give to my parents. After then it seemed like every time I was sad she would always tell everything would be ok and sometimes that's all I needed. I send my condolences to her family because after 30yrs this one of my fondest memories and I can't imagine the loss her families feeling.
