Marion Irene Bartone, age 92, formerly of Conneaut, died November 22, 2017 at the Country Club Retirement Center, Ashtabula, Ohio.

Marion was born September 21, 1925 in Girard, PA, the daughter of Lawrence Schultz and Beatrice Brockett. She was a graduate of Conneaut High, who worked for several years at the former Astatic Corp, Red & White Meat Market, Dr. Droese Veterinary and later Emco Wheaton.

Marion was a member of the East Amboy United Methodist Church, Conneaut Quilt Guild and Kingsville Quilt Guild.  She was a very talented quilter and candy maker.  Giving quilts and candy to family and friends brought her so much happiness.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Anthony “Tony” Bartone, whom she married July 7, 1950, and her brother Robert Schultz.

Marion is survived by her two daughters, Dianne (Ted) Mayberry and Tona (Scott) Humphrey, three grandchildren, Ted Mayberry, Karen (Tom) Parks and Bryan Humphrey, three-great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Following Marion’s wishes, private services will be held.

Memorial contributions can be made in Marion’s name to Bella Care Hospice, 1933 OH-45, Austinburgh, OH 44010.  Envelopes will be available at Raisian Family Funeral Home, 581 Harbor St. Conneaut.
