Stephen "Steve" Patrick Williams

Stephen Patrick Williams age 48 died Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at University Hospitals Cleveland from lung cancer complications.

          Steve was born on November 20, 1970 in Conneaut the son of Patrick Williams and Denise Johnson.  He was a 1989 graduate of Conneaut High School.  Steve went on to work at Bailey Corp. in Conneaut, MFG in Ashtabula and Cuyahoga Plastics as a supervisor until his illness. 

          He was a member of Corpus Christi Parish and the Sons of Italy.  Steve enjoyed playing the guitar, going to casinos and was an avid Cleveland sports fan.  He was very proud of his Italian heritage.  He especially loved Italian food, cookies and sweets.  Steve had a great sense of humor and a wonderful dry wit. 

          Steve was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Dorotha and Nathan Johnson, paternal grandfather Nicholas Williams, cousin Nate Johnson and an aunt Colleen Bruntz.

          He is survived by his mother Denise and R.L. Johnson of Conneaut, father Patrick and Michelle Williams of Conneaut, paternal grandmother Hanna Williams of Conneaut, girlfriend Dina Coates of N. Kingsville, aunts and uncles Ron and Dorothy Johnson of Colorado, Robert and Raissa Johnson of Virginia, James Johnson of Ashtabula, Michael and Cheryl Allshouse of Conneaut and Nick and Debi Pape of Arizona, cousins Nicole Bryant, Michael Allshouse and Jack Johnson and several distant cousins.

          Calling hours will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the Raisian Family Funeral Home, 581 Harbor Street, Conneaut.

          Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the funeral home with Father Raymond Thomas of Our Lady of Peace Parish and Deacon Nicholas Iarocci of Corpus Christi Parish officiating. 

          Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Route 20, Conneaut.

          Memorial contributions may be made to the APL of Ashtabula County or Seidman Cancer Center.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
