Alexander Richard Carlucci, age 81 of Conneaut, died Monday, March 15, 2021 at the Cleveland Clinic.
Richard was born November 28, 1939 in Cleveland, Ohio the son of Anthony and Mary Mirando Carlucci. Richard was a 1959 Conneaut High School graduate and went on to enlist in the United States Navy and served his country until he was honorably discharged in 1962.
Richard worked for the Penn Central Railroad, Bessemer Railroad and US Steel/Canadian National as a truck driver and bus driver.
Richard was a member of the American Legion Cowle Post 151 and Corpus Christi Parish.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Randy Poplin and Alexander Carlucci, his wife Janice (Keeble) Carlucci, two brother that drowned in Lake Erie and an infant sister in Italy.
Richard is survived by daughters Tabitha and Stephen Coates of Conneaut and Christina and Stephen Shue of Conneaut, sons Mark Carlucci and Robert Stanley, grandchildren Brandon, Amber, John, Shane, Greg, great grandchildren Violet, Dominic, Cassidy, Bennie, Amara, Delilah and one on the way.
Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday March 19, 2021 at the Raisian Family Funeral Home, 581 Harbor St, Conneaut.
Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2021 at St. Frances Cabrini Church with Fr. Philip Miller officiating.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Conneaut with the American Legion Honor Squad conducting full military services.
