Alvera B. Terry

Alvera B. Terry, 97, of Conneaut, died peacefully in her sleep on December 8, 2024.

Alvera was the daughter of Silvio and Beatrice (Stockmaster) Zoratti. After graduating from Conneaut High School, she went on to graduate from the Cleveland Academy of Beauticians' School. She returned to Conneaut and worked as a beautician.

On August 16, 1947, Alvera and James R. Terry wed at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church and were blessed to celebrate 70 years together.

 Alvera is survived by her children Linda (Michael) Dell, David, Karen, Russell, Joseph (Tracy), Philip (Kate), and Sara (Thomas) Kardohely.  She was a loving grandmother to nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Alvera was preceded in death by her husband and her brothers Raymond, Robert and Richard Zoratti.

Alvera enjoyed the outdoors and spent her later years tending both vegetable and flower gardens. 

In keeping with Alvera's wishes, no services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Little Pink House of HOPE (see website), and Corpus Christi Parish, 744 Mill St. Conneaut, Ohio 44030.
