Arthur A. Carlucci, age 95, of Conneaut, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Art was born on July 15, 1929, in Conneaut, the son of George and Mary Vendetti Carlucci. Art attended Conneaut High School and then went to work for the Nickel Plate Railroad.  He later retired from Norfolk Western Southern Railroad where he was in maintenance for many years. Art was known to be the last survivor who set the rails for the Nickel Plate Steam Engine 757 at the Conneaut Railroad Museum.

Art was a member of Corpus Christi Parish and was a very active member of the church throughout his life. He married Jennie V. Petronio on August 4, 1951, and would have celebrated their 74th wedding anniversary this year. His family and friends were the most precious things to Art. He was known for his wine making skills, his perfect garden, and woodworking skills.   Art loved to make wooden benches for the grandchildren and Christmas reindeer. He loved being in his workshop. Both he and Jennie loved all Italian foods and traditions.

Art was preceded in death by his parents, wife Jennie V. Carlucci, who passed away Feb 22, 2025, a sister Philomenia Perkoski and a brother John Carlucci.

He is survived by his daughter Lisa and Dave Coon of North Kingsville, a son Mark and Ashley Carlucci of Conneaut, five grandchildren, Hannah, Jenna, Gina, Aaron and Audrey and several nieces and nephews and very close friends.
