Carole A. Usher (Arp) age 82 died Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Paulding County Nursing Center in Dallas, Georgia. Carole was born on November 29, 1938 in Conneaut, Ohio, and she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ethel (Clark) Arp. Carole was a 1956 graduate of Conneaut High School. Carole met the love of her life Larry Usher in 1962, and they were married for 59 years. Carole lived in Conneaut until May 2014.
Throughout her life, Carole was a member of the St. Frances Cabrini Parish. Carole worked several different jobs, and she volunteered her time on Election Day as a precinct helper. Carole was an avid sports fan; you could find her on Saturday afternoons cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes or on Sunday afternoons cheering on the Cleveland Browns. Carole enjoyed dancing and spending time with family members or close friends. However, she found the greatest joy raising her four children. She enjoyed watching them play sports, perform at dance recitals, and later, she enjoyed traveling to visit them and their families. More than anything else, Carole loved spending time and spoiling her seven, amazing grandchildren.
Carole is preceded in death by her parents; her two brothers Richard Arp and Lee Arp and by her sister Barbara Madonna.
She is survived by her loving husband Larry Usher, and her four children, Jeffrey Usher and his wife Pam Zdravecky of Hampton, Virginia; L. Neil Usher and his wife Darleen of Dallas, Georgia; Melissa Gamble and her husband David of Watertown, Massachusetts; and Kristine Saylor and her husband Scott of Midlothian, Virginia. Carole is also survived by seven, beautiful grandchildren Eric Tansmore, Victoria Steele (Usher), Alexa Usher, Olivia Usher, Brooke Saylor, Jacob Saylor, Elle Gamble and great grandchild Zander Steele.
