Christopher C. Szafranski, age 69, of Conneaut passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025 at Hillcrest Hospital in Cleveland.
Chris was born May 29, 1956 in Natrona Heights, PA, the son of Charles and Marcella (Smith) Szafranski. He was a 1974 graduate of Highlands High School and went on to become certified as a tool and mold maker. Chris worked for many factories in the Meadville area throughout his career.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents, beloved departed wife Linda Calton Szafranski in 2001 and one sister.
Chris is survived by his fiancé Georgia (Titus) Taylor, three daughters Jessica Szafranski, Leah Shull and Kelly Szafranski, stepdaughter Darla Wile, stepsons James Taylor, Jr. (Priscella Barnes) and Anthony Taylor, one sister Amy Avine, grandchildren Damon Szfranski, Baylee Lunglhofer, Samantha Shull, Mikalah Shull, Ethan Miller, Jordyn Shull, Jayden Szafranski Hunter Morris, Dakota Broscious, and three step-grandchildren Jayla Rae, Aliyah Fae and Paisley Grace, and his beloved chocolate lab Waffles Mae.
He was a member of the Conneaut Eagles Club, Conneaut Moose Lodge and Sportsman’s Club in Linesville, PA.
Chris was an avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing as far as Michigan to Canada, making handmade fishing lures, growing tomatoes in his garden, grilling “the best” burgers, woodworking – making furniture for his home, dancing to country music with his fiancé Georgia, and loved watching sports, especially the Steelers and Indians. Chris loved spending time with family and friends and his beloved chocolate lab Waffles Mae.
There will be no services at this time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Raisian Funeral Home, 581 Harbor Street, Conneaut.
