Deborah Frances Lower, age 75 of Ashtabula, died unexpectedly Sunday, February 18, 2024, at her residence.
Debbie was born June 24, 1948, in West Palm Beach, Florida, the daughter of John J. McCarthy and Allie Mae Prevatte. She was a graduate of Riveria High School and later came to Ashtabula County to live and raise her family.
Debbie loved the outdoors and nature. She really enjoyed watching the Eagles in the area. She was an avid Cleveland sports fan. She watched every Indians, Browns and Cav’s games she could. She especially loved to watch Kevin Love of the Cav’s and Corey Kluber of the Indians.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and 4 brothers, Jack Fogleman, Robert Fogleman, Frank Fogleman and Jim Fogleman.
Debbie is survived by her children, Kevin (Jennifer) Spurlin, Conneaut, Brian (Salina) Spurlin of Conneaut, Gina (Danny) Westcott, of St. Augustine Beach, Florida, along with 11 grandchildren, Matthew Lower, Mark(Sadie) Lower, Darrell (Ashley) Westcott, Mitchell Lower, Jill (Zack) Day, Kelli Hernandez, Marcus Braden, Anthony (Jake) Nunes, Kathryne Ray, Bryce Spurlin, Kendyll Spurlin and 7 great grandchildren, Lucas, Chase, Charli, Reagan, Hayden, Melody and Mateo and several nieces and nephews.
The family is planning a celebration of Debbie’s life at a later date.
Details will be announced by the Raisian Funeral Home, 581 Harbor St, Conneaut, where arrangements have been entrusted.
