Dolores M. Bowers age 91 passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2024, at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home.
Dolores was born on May 10, 1932, in Ashtabula, the daughter of John and Mary Mucci Stasko. Dolores worked at the Mickelson Greenhouse and later MFG in the finishing department.
Dolores was a lifelong member of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Kingsville. She loved to knit and crochet. She also liked to be outdoors doing yardwork, mowing grass and polishing cars. An avid shopper, she loved to spend time with her friends and family.
Delores was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Billy Bowers, whom she married October 17, 1948, a son Dean Bowers, brothers Paul Stasko, Donald Stasko and a sister Margaret Shauberger.
She is survived by her sons Louie Bowers of Ashtabula, daughters Janice and Duane Deak of Ashtabula, Debbie Davis of Ashtabula, sister in laws Beverly Stasko and Joyce Stasko.
Grandchildren Darren, Amanda and Russell, great grandsons, Daniel, Christian and great granddaughter Ava.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m.to 11:30 a.m. May 1, 2024, at the Raisian Funeral Home, 581 Harbor Street, Conneaut.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held 12 noon at St. Andrews Church, 3700 St. Rt 193, Kingsville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville.
Memorial contributions in Dolores name, may be made to St. Andrew Church Building Fund.
