Obituary
Dolores “Dody” M. Garn, age 87 of Erie, died December 30, 2021 at UPMC Hamot.
Dody was born on April 4, 1934 in Conneaut, the daughter of Michael and Elizabeth (Toth) Bartone. She was a 1952 graduate of Conneaut High School. She worked for many years until she retired from Lord Manufacturing in the accounting department.
She was a member of All Saints Parish in Erie. Dody loved taking care of animals and her dogs. She was known to have a green thumb and everyone loved her flowers.
Dody was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Phyllis Dickinson and Mary Jane Miller.
She is survived by her husband Gene Garn of Erie, Pa, brother Michael Bartone of Conneaut and a sister Antoinette (William) Biggins of Bellevue, Ohio.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Raisian Funeral Home, 581 Harbor Street, Conneaut.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 744 Mill Street, Conneaut, with Father Philip Miller officiating.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Route 20, Conneaut.
