Edward A. Hill

Edward A. Hill age 72 of Parma, Ohio passed away unexpectedly with his family by his side on November 4, 2022 at UH Parma Medical Center.

Ed was born on December 21, 1949 in Conneaut, Ohio the son of Leonard and Margaret Trimmel Hill.  He was a 1968 graduate of Northwestern High School.  He served in the Merchant Marines and worked at Maples Donuts in Lake City, Giant Eagle and Valu King in Girard and was a school bus driver for Girard and Fairview school systems.  He was most recently employed as a commercial bus driver with Coach USA, Barons Bus Co.

He was a member of the Siebenburgers Club in Erie and a member of the Springboro Fire Club. 

Ed was preceded by his parents and two brothers Robert Hill and Stephen Hill.

He is survived by two daughters Heather and Keith Shauberger of Springboro, PA and Theresa and Douglas Fox of Riverview, Florida, seven grandchildren Madison Swartwood, Riley, Morgan, McKenna, Keith, Jr., and Ryker Shauberger, and Kayla Fox, brother John and Nancy Hill of Maryland, sisters Barbara and Jack Bates of East Springfield, PA, Jane and Lane Turner of Geneva, Ohio and Janet Bourne of Crawford County, PA and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Raisian Funeral Home, 581 Harbor Street, Conneaut, Ohio.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 744 Mill Street, Conneaut, Ohio with Father Philip Miller of Corpus Christi Parish officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Route 20, N. Kingsville, Ohio.
