Elizabeth M. Todaro, age 92, died Wednesday, Dec 9, 2020 at the Ashtabula Country Club Retirement Center where she had resided for several years.
Elizabeth was born on February 28, 1928 in Ashtabula, the daughter of Samuel and Anastasia Martucci Nappi. She was a graduate of Ashtabula High School and later moved to Conneaut and married her late husband James J. Todaro in the summer of 1952.
Elizabeth worked for many years in the laundry service department at Brown Memorial Hospital in Conneaut and later spent most of her time raising her family. She loved her home and taking care of her children. She was a member of Corpus Christi Parish and Our Lady of Peace Parish.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James J. Todaro, a son Donny Soller, a daughter Antoinette Dennings, brothers Pat Nappi, Michael Nappi, Sam Nappi, sisters Julie Mecci, Stella Bulovanta, Carmela Azzano and Adeline Vendetti, a grandson Michael Soller.
Elizabeth is survived by sons Roger (Connie) Soller, of Ashtabula, Dominic (MaryAnn) Todaro of Arizona, James Todaro of Virginia, Louis Todaro of Florida, daughters Carmela (Dan) Soliday of Ashtabula, Tina (Paul) Sedmak of Conneaut, Janet (David) Killip of Virginia, Arnesta (Darwin) Gurto of Conneaut, Josephine (Al) Wright of Pierpont, 25 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Private family services will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 at the Raisian Family Funeral Home, 581 Harbor Street, Conneaut with Fr. Philip Miller and Deacon Nicholas Iarocci of Corpus Christi Parish officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Route 20, N. Kingsville.
