Elizabeth "Betty" J. Campbell

Elizabeth “Betty” J. Campbell age 80 died December 8, 2021, at UH Conneaut Medical Center.

Betty was born on September 23, 1941, in Conneaut the daughter of Joseph and Louise Paulinsky Godzsak.  She was a 1959 graduate of Conneaut High School.  She was employed for many years as a bank teller at Farmers Bank in Ashtabula, Society and Key Bank in Conneaut until her retirement in 2003.

Betty was a member of Corpus Christi Parish where she was very active in all church activities. She volunteered many hours for her church and parish community. She was a member of the Conneaut Moose, Conneaut Eagles and the American Legion.  She enjoyed gambling, going to casino’s, bowling and was an avid Cleveland Cavs, Indians, and Browns fan.  Betty loved to socialize and spend time with friends and family.  She also enjoyed riding with her late husband Ray on their Goldwing motorcycle for many years.  Recently Betty traveled to Las Vegas to celebrate her 80th birthday with her family.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond J. Campbell in 2008, sister Louise Potter and brothers Edward Godzsak and Alex Godzsak.

She is survived by her son Raymond J. (Kurt) Campbell of Brunswick, Ohio, and daughters Lisa (Scott) Dalrymple of Conneaut and Karen (Mark) Jones of Brunswick, Ohio.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Raisian Family Funeral Home, 581 Harbor Street, Conneaut.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 13, 2021, at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 744 Mill Street, Conneaut, with Fr. Philp Miller officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Conneaut.

Memorial contributions in Betty’s memory can be made to Corpus Christi Parish Building Fund or the American Cancer Society.
