Emelia A. “Millie” Hall, age 93 died Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home.
Millie was born on June 19, 1927, in Conneaut the daughter of Benjamin and Katherine Snyder Golaszewski. She attended Conneaut High School and went on to work at the former Astatic Corp. in production as a shipping supervisor.
Millie was a member of Corpus Christi Parish, Polish Ladies Club, and the former Astatic Credit Union. She enjoyed volunteering at church dinners, decorating cakes for weddings and birthdays and especially loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved going to the casinos and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians.
Millie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Phillip Hall in 1996, sister Helen Tharp and daughter-in-law Diane Hall, infant sisters Julia and Mary Ann Golaszewski, infant brother Bernard Golaszewski and brother Pete Golaszewski.
She is survived by her son Gregg Hall of Conneaut, six grandchildren Nicole (Adam) Pontius, Kari (Chad) McKinley, Daniel (Lindsay) Sutterlin, Ben (Eryn) Sutterlin, Nina (Alan) Everson and C.J. (Bekah) Sutterlin, seven great grandchildren Luke, Mila, Lillian, Madi, Grace, Sam, Tucker and, sister Agnes Fields of Conneaut and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Raisian Funeral Home, 581 Harbor Street, Conneaut.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday June 7, 2021, at St. Mary Church, 480 State Street, Conneaut with Father Philip Miller of Corpus Christi Parish officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Conneaut.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Bella Care Hospice, Sadie, Jess, Nicole, Stacey and Tracy and to the Ashtabula County Nursing Home, Tina, Crystal, Jade and Janice for the care and compassion given to Millie.
