Gloria Mae McFadden, fondly known as “Maisie,” died January 1, 2024, at the David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland, Ohio.
Maisie was born on August 7, 1947, in Union City, PA, the daughter of Eben and Betty (Hulihan) Carbaugh. She graduated from Northwestern High School in 1965 and married Robert S. McFadden on August 5, 1966.
Maisie worked at the Albion Corner Restaurant for many years as a waitress and as a secretary for Broughton Beverages at Pepsi Company in Ashtabula, Ohio.
Maisie loved reading books, crocheting, Bingo and playing word games on the computer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert S. McFadden (2021), sisters, Janet Runge, Carol Gabel, Elaine McFadden, Betty Jean Schreiber, brother John Carbaugh, four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Maisie is survived by daughters, Missy (Dennis) DeCamillo, Saybrook, Mindy (Rick) McAllister, Albion, Mandy (Joseph) Pagano, Texas, and siblings, David (Betty Jean) Carbaugh of Paris, N.Y., and Toni Lynne Loveland of Louisiana, 18 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2024, from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Raisian Family Funeral Home, 581 Harbor Street, Conneaut and will conclude with a prayer service, officiated by Pastor Mike Priestap of McLane Church, Edinboro.
