Jesse W. Howard, age 72 of Kingsville, died Friday, December 19, 2014 at his residence with his family at his side.

Jesse was born on July 25, 1942 in Berea, Ohio the son of Jesse H. and Elizabeth Owens Howard. He was a 1960 graduate from Williamsfield High School, and graduated from Mt. Union University with a BA in Elementary Education. Jesse was hired as a teacher at West Main School in Conneaut and later as a teacher/principle for Monroe School. During that time he attended graduate school at Westminster College and earned his Administrative Degree while teaching. Jesse also taught college classes to teachers from Youngstown State. Jesse worked for the Conneaut School system for 25 years, five years with the "Gifted Program-Allegro" at the Vo-Ed and was responsible for the development of a Mentorship Program throughout Ashtabula County.

Jesse and his wife Bernadette loved to travel in their RV. They enjoyed traveling throughout Florida, Texas and Louisiana. Jesse liked to cross country snow ski and downhill ski, four-wheeling, snowmobiling and riding motorcycle with his family. He loved woodworking and carpentry along with a Home Improvement Carpentry Business that he started.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Bernadette Ostrowski Howard whom he married June 24, 1967, two sons, Ted and Terri Howard of Clinton, Ohio, Kip and Doreen Howard of North Kingsville, four grandchildren, Alexa, Sara, Carter and Abbie, a sister Darleen and James Lambert of Arizona and a niece Jill Teague of Abilene, Texas.

At Jesse's request there will be no funeral services. Memorial contributions can be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve in Jesse W. Howard's memory. Envelopes will be available at the Raisian Family Funeral Home, 581 Harbor St, Conneaut, Ohio where arrangements are being handled.
