JoAnn Beaver Obituary

JoAnn M. Beaver age 80 of Conneaut died at her residence early Wednesday morning May 20, 2020 surrounded by her family.

JoAnn was born on April 1, 1940 the daughter of Dominic and Mary Vignal Palmer. She attended Conneaut High School and later worked at the former Astatic Corporation, Eighmy Corporation, Molded Fiberglass and retired from General Electric Conneaut Base Plant as a Quality Control coordinator in July of 2001 after 30 years of service.

JoAnn was a member of Corpus Christi Parish attending mass regularly at St. Frances Cabrini Church. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, going on cruises, and bowling. JoAnn’s favorite time was spent with her family and friends. She loved her family and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Betty Landolfi, Josephine Lengyel, Delores Shields, Francis Compora and Marge Copeland.

JoAnn is survived by her husband Charles Beaver II, whom she married September 25, 1981, two sons, Craig DeChurch Jr., of Conneaut, Steven (Tracy) DeChurch of Ashtabula, a brother Donald (Carol) Palmer of Conneaut, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with JoAnn’s wishes and Covid-19, private family services will be held Saturday, May 23, 2020, with Fr. Raymond Thomas of Our Lady of Peace Parish officiating.

Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Conneaut.
