John D. Blanar

John D. Blanar age 76 of Conneaut died Saturday, April 17, 2021 at UH Geauga Medical Center.

John was born in Conneaut on July 4, 1944 the son of John and Alice Blanar.  John was a mechanic and enjoyed tinkering.  He also enjoyed fishing and old time Western movies.

John is preceded in death by his parents, sister Mary Jo Mickle and a sister at birth Lydia Blanar.

He is survived by his wife Victoria (Brockway) Blanar, his sisters Alice McKendrick of New York, Ann Cosner of Conneaut, Susan Webber of Conneaut, Martha Sekki of Painesville, Ruth Christi of Conneaut, Elaine Tinker of Minnesota, Elizabeth Brisley of Conneaut, stepchildren Keith Tackett, Eddie Tackett, Torri Tackett and Jenifer Tackett.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Raisian Family Funeral Home.

Burial of John’s ashes will take place at the convenience of the family at St. Joseph Cemetery, Conneaut.
