Joseph A. Philip

          Joseph A. Philip age 65 of Pierpont, died Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Ashtabula Regional Medical Center.

          Joe was born on February 26, 1960, in Conneaut, the son of Manuel Philip and Marjorie Bort.  He was a 1978 graduate from Conneaut High School.  Joe worked for CSP in the maintenance and electrician department where he would later retire from.

          Joe loved tinkering in his garage.  He enjoyed riding his Kawasaki, Victory and Harley Davidson motorcycles, boating and water skiing and spending time with family and friends.

          He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Donna Goelz.

          Joe is survived by his children Justin (Christina) Philip of Conneaut, daughter JoAnn (Chip) Parker of Conneaut, five grandchildren Dylan Philip, Jacob Philip, Samuel Philip, Emily (Hunter Stiltner) Lorello and Logan Parker, and one great-granddaughter Delilah Stiltner. Joe is also survived by his partner of many years Theresa Hnida of Pierpont and her son Ryan Hnida, two sisters Debbie (John) Goelz of Clinton, Mississippi and Julie (John) Florian of Amherst, OH.

          Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Raisian Family Funeral Home, 581 Harbor Street, Conneaut followed by a graveside service at Glenwood Cemetery in Conneaut.
