Kenneth Peters Obituary

Kenneth L. Peters age 59 died Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at UH Cleveland Medical Center.

Kenny was born on February 17, 1961 the son of Leroy R. and Delores (Eddy) Peters.  He was a 1979 Northwestern High School graduate and had been self-employed as a mechanic for many years. Kenny was always willing to help anyone with anything. He once helped a service man on leave to fix a broken transmission that did not have any money. He told him to send him the money when he could. That was the type of person Kenny Peters was.

He was a former member of the Conneaut Moose Lodge and enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycling and racing. He also enjoyed “line dancing” and even taught it to others.

Kenny is survived by his father Leroy and Evelyn Peters, mother Delores and Richard Blood, his wife Kimberly (Gray) Peters, sons Kenneth L. Peters, Jr. of West Springfield, Joseph S. Peters of Conneaut, Garret Peters of Conneaut, and Tyler J. Peters, whom Kenny raised for the first few years of his life as his own, daughters Tricia A. Peters of West Springfield, Nicole M. Peters, Holly J. (Jeremy Snyder) Peters of Conneaut, Stefanie (Charlton) Williams and Nicole Hamilton, brothers Daniel (Bonnie) Peters of Conneaut, Joseph (Lori) Mills of Lake County, Randy Mills, Douglas Mills, Lawrence (Jodi) Mills, of Ashtabula, sisters Roxanne (Glen) Whitney of West Springfield, Dora Peters (Joe Papotta) of Conneaut, Debbie (Scott) Burke of Painesville, Gayle (Chad) Edwards of West Springfield, Carol (Butch Fair) Jones of Meadville along with numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held Saturday, May 16, 2020 at the Raisian Family Funeral Home, 581 Harbor St, Conneaut with Rev. Ron Spore, Ken’s Uncle, officiating.
