Linda M. Bogar, age 74 of Conneaut, died Monday, September 29, 2014 at her home.

Linda was born on May 27, 1940 in Geneva, Ohio the daughter of Arthur and Clara (Bancroft) Wilkinson. She attended Kingsville High School.

Linda was Methodist by faith and loved to play the organ. She was an avid sports fan and loved to help the youth. For many years, Linda organized the junior and senior kids bowling leagues at El Camp Lanes. She was an accomplished bowler herself and bowled on many women's leagues. Linda was well-known as one of the best women's bowlers in Ashtabula county.

She also enjoyed playing golf with her husband and was the first scorekeeper in the original 40 and over softball league.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Bruce Wilkinson.

Linda is survived by her husband, James R. Bogar, whom she married September 13, 1957, sons, Robert "Bob" Bogar and Gary Bogar, both of Conneaut, a daughter, Wendy Bogar of Ashtabula, and two grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Hospice of the Western Reserve for their kind and compassionate care given to Linda during her illness.

At the request of Linda's family, there will be no services.

The Raisian Family Funeral Home, 581 Harbor St., Conneaut, Ohio are handling her arrangements.
