Lois C. Madonna, age 93, formerly of Conneaut, died Friday, June 5, 2026, at UH Geauga Hospital.
Lois was born July 25, 1932, in Coudersport, PA, the daughter of Harold and Elvina Furman. She was a 1950 graduate of Coudersport High School. Lois and her late husband Anthony “Tony” Madonna lived and raised their family in Conneaut. Lois worked for years at the former Astatic Corporation as a telephone operator. Later she was an Ashtabula County Sheriff dispatcher who also became a corrections officer at the county jail. Lois also worked at the Geneva Giant Eagle for several years.
In her spare time, Lois loved to spend time with her family and going out to eat.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Anthony “Tony” Madonna in 1984, brothers Richard Furman, Edwin Furman and a sister Barbara DiStevens.
Lois survives by her daughter, Cynthia (Scott) Slocum of Conneaut, Kevin (Marie) Madonna, Atlanta, GA, Tony (Cheryl) Madonna and Brian (Becky) Madonna both of Madison, grandchildren, A.J., Kevin, Heather, Anthony, Gina, Michael, Scott and Robyn, four great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Raisian Funeral Home, 581 Harbor St, Conneaut, with Deacon Nicholas Iarocci officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
