Marcella A. (Adang) Beckwith, age 99, died Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the Villa at the Lake.
Marcella was born July 27, 1926, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of John Estock and Elizabeth Wiezer. Marcella worked for many years as an LPN at Brown Memorial Hospital until she retired.
Marcella enjoyed bowling, roller skating, dancing and polkas. She also loved the wineries and Octoberfest Festivals. She moved to Arcadia, Florida, and lived there for several years with her second husband David Beckwith, before relocating back to Ashtabula County.
Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Robert Adang, second husband David Beckwith.
Marcella is survived by her children, Timothy (Sandy) Adang, Conneaut, daughter Leah (Gary) English, Conneaut, Thomas J Adang of Kingsville, grandchildren Michelle English, Candice English, Taylor Ginell, grandchildren Karma and Kindred. Stepchildren, Dave Beckwith, Ron (Betty) Beckwith and Todd (Jimmy) Beckwith.
Mass of the Christian burial will be held at a later date this spring. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Conneaut.
Marcella’s family would like to thank the nurses, doctors and staff at the Villa at the Lake, the Hospice of the Western Reserve, and the Ashtabula County Nursing & Rehabilitation for the wonderful care and compassion given to Marcella during her time at the Villa.
