Obituary
Martin W. Ely, age 67 of Pierpont, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at his residence.
Martin was born on June 20, 1955, in Conneaut the son of William Ely and Lois Arlene Sweet. Martin was a 1973 graduate of Conneaut High School. He served in the United States Navy until he was Honorably discharged.
Martin worked for the American Steamships as a Merchant Marine and later had a career as a truck driver until he retired.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Martin is survived by a son Eric Bisbee, two grandchildren and several step-children, step-grandchildren and step-greatgrandchildren.
At Martin’s request he will be cremated, and no funeral services will be held at this time.
The Raisian Funeral Home, 581 Harbor Street has been entrusted with his arrangements.
