Mary E. Armeni

Mary E. Armeni, age 101, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at the Ashtabula County Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Mary was born in Conneaut on April 25, 1922, the daughter of James and Angeline DiPlacido Armeni.  She was a 1941 graduate of Conneaut High School.  Mary spent her life taking care of her family and her home. 

She was a member of Corpus Christi Parish, Altar Rosary Society and served as a Eucharistic Minister.  For many years, Mary volunteered and was very supportive of the church.  She enjoyed interior decorating, reading, shopping, cooking and baking.  Mary was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Arthur Armeni, Joseph Armeni, sisters Sarah Armeni and Violet Armeni.

She is survived by honorary nieces and nephews and several cousins.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at the Raisian Funeral Home, 581 Harbor Street, Conneaut.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 744 Mill Street, Conneaut with Father Philip Miller of Corpus Christi Parish officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Conneaut.
