Mary Jane Dello

Mary Jane Dello, age 92, of Conneaut, died December 11, 2024, at her son’s residence where she has resided for the past several years.

Mary Jane was born August 27, 1932, in Conneaut the daughter of Pete and Ruby (Risley) Mundi. A graduate of Conneaut High, she was the owner operator of Lovely Lady Fashion in Conneaut, Lenette’s Beauty shop and was an excellent bookkeeper and tax preparer for several local businessmen. She was a member of Corpus Christi Parish and was very active in the church years ago with her husband Leonard and family.

Mary Jane was a former member of the Catholic Daughter of the America’s, the Cara Mia Club, Conneaut Moose Lodge, American Legion. She lived the winter months in Florida and was an avid golfer and bowler for many years. She also enjoyed the Casino’s, traveling, crafts and bingo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leonard J. Dello Jr., whom she married November 10. 1951, and a brother Joseph P. Mundi.

Mary Jane is survived by sons, David (Jackie) Dello, of Conneaut, Daniel Dello and Kathy Craine whom she resided with of Geneva, former daughter-in-law Janet Dello of Mentor, daughter Lenette Butts of Conneaut, along with 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will take place Monday, December 16, 2024, at the Raisian Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. with Fr. Philip Miller of Corpus Christi Parish officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Conneaut.

Following the cemetery, friends and family are invited to the American Legion, 272 Broad Street, Conneaut for a reception.
