Mildred "Millie" J. Wade

Mildred J. Wade, age 80 of Conneaut, died October 22, 2021 at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home.

Millie was born on May 20, 1941, in Girard, PA the daughter of George and Dorothy Kinney Moyer.  Millie was a graduate of Northwestern High School and worked for many years as a waitress. She also worked at the Ramada Inn, Manners Big Boy in Ashtabula, the Big K, Green Shingle and Keystone Truck Stop. For many years she was a wonderful seamstress and loved embroidery, she was also a local notary public for many years. Millie would welcome you into her house any time, but her love was her family, she cherished her kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Mike Wade whom she married November 3, 1976, son Jerry Wade, sisters Georgia Moyer, Judy Moyer, Bonnie Moyer and Virginia Marcy, brothers Robert Moyer, Frank Moyer and Charles Moyer and granddaughter Laura Wade.

She is survived by her son James (Cheryl) Wade of Conneaut, a daughter Grace Wade of Conneaut, sister Marie Heinonen of Conneaut, grandchildren Richie (Jessica) Wade, Jason (Stephanie) Wade, Kimberly Wade, Destiny (Eric) Pierson and Mercedes, great-grandchildren Autumn, Ty, Addy, Lincoln, Zane, Madison, Gavin, Taya and Logan and great-great grandson Liam James.

At Millie’s request there will be no calling hours.

Burial of Millie’s ashes will be in East Conneaut Cemetery at 12:00 Noon on Friday, November 5, 2021.
