"OJ" Oliver John Richmond

         “OJ” Oliver John Richmond age 86 of Ashtabula died Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at his home.

          OJ was born on November 10, 1934 in Orrville, Ohio the son of William and Ella (Lehman) Richmond.  He was a 1954 graduate of Geneva High School.  OJ served in the United States Marine Corp. from 1954 to 1957.  

          OJ enjoyed golfing and bowling on various leagues and especially loved the time he spent with his family and friends.

          OJ is survived by his wife Edith Dale whom he married on May 2, 1959, a daughter Linda and Scott Lester, grandchildren Sherri, Amanda (Julie) and Scotty Lester and six great grandchildren Gage, Morgan, Brock Delilah, Keegan and Frankie and his brother Karl Richmond.

          OJ was preceded in death by his parents and Rollie Gersper, Terry Gersper and Cleora Gersper.

          At OJ’s request no services will be held.  Burial of his cremains will be held at the convenience of the family at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Route 20, N. Kingsville, Ohio.

          Arrangements have been entrusted to the Raisian Family Funeral Home, 581 Harbor Street, Conneaut.
