Patricia R Jarvi, age 77, died Friday, January 30, 2015 at Darby Glenn Nursing Home, Hilliard OH.

Pat was born October, 28 1937 in Pittsburgh PA, the daughter of Patrick and Mary McKenzie. She graduated from Pittsburgh's Mount Nazareth Academy. Pat moved to Conneaut in December, 1976 and married Jack Jarvi in May, 1980. Pat was a devoted mother, grandmother and homemaker. She enjoyed baking, crafting, gardening, shopping, reading, action movies and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Patricia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Spring and summer were her favorite time of year. During the spring and summer you could always find Pat tending to her garden on Woodland Avenue. She always took great pride in her home and flower gardens. She loved being outdoors in the evenings just enjoying the deck with family and playing soccer with her grandchildren. Pat always had a cake or a pie available for her family and friends. Pat and Jack moved to Lewis Center in 2002 to be closer to their grandchildren. While in Lewis Center, Pat enjoyed attending her grandchildren's school and sporting events, and simply sharing her time and interests with her grandchildren. She also became the doting caregiver of the family dachshunds, Sophie and Lucy.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack Jarvi and brother, Richard McKenzie.

She is survived by sons Lawrence (Tammy) Haley, Bradenton FL, son Daniel (Hope) Haley, Springfield OH, daughter Maureen (Joe) Taylor, Lewis Center OH, grandchildren Brian Haley (Conneaut), Tim Haley (Bradenton FL), Brandon Haley (Conneaut), McKenzie (Austin) Stump (Bradenton FL), Ryan Taylor (Cincinnati), Gregory Taylor (Cambridge, MA), Kelsey, Anthony Taylor (Lewis Center OH), Hannah and Tyler Haley (Springfield OH). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, all of the Conneaut area.

Calling hours will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at the RAISIAN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 581 Harbor Street, Conneaut, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. following calling hours at the funeral home, with Father John Sheridan officiating.

Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Route 20, Conneaut.
