Patricia (Pasqualina) Ann Adams, age 92, of Conneaut, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the Ashtabula County Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Pat was born on March 11, 1932, in Conneaut, Ohio, the daughter of Pasquale and Anna Mucci DiNunzio. She attended school in Conneaut and went on to work at the former Astatic Corporation in production, while raising her family. She also worked at Blick’s Studio, Abbott’s Card Shop, and was a clerk at Newberry’s and Pelton’s. She later retired from Conneaut General Electric Base Plant.
Pat was a member of St. Frances Cabrini, Corpus Christi Parish. Pat was a substitute teacher at Cabrini years ago and worked in the computer lab. She was a former Cub Scout leader and member of the mother’s club. Pat loved to bowl with the ladies and play pinochle. As active as Pat was, she most loved family gatherings, cooking Italian foods and spending time with all of her family and grandchildren.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James “Congo” Adams, brothers Louis DiNunzio, Anthony DiNunzio, sisters Ida Armeni, Helen Bohach, Florence Jabaily, half-brother Nick DiNunzio, half-sisters Mary Calabrese and Josephine Marcucci.
Pat is survived by her children, son Jack and Patricia Carr, daughters Karen Simmons, Linda and Bill Kehoe, grandchildren, Patrick and Jennifer Carr, Tony Carr, Jack Carr and Raul Caldera, Christine Skwera, Jacquelin and Vince Benton, Kevin Kehoe, Daniel Kehoe, great grandchildren Ethan, Aidan, Liam, Sophia, Christopher, Joseph, Jaliyah and Mylen, stepchildren James and Zalpha Adams, Jeff Adams and Holly Linke, step-grandchildren A.J and Jeffrey Jr., along with many nieces, nephews and cousins and distant relatives.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 18, 2024, at St. Frances Cabrini Church, with Fr. Philip Miller officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Conneaut.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the Raisian Funeral Home, 581 Harbor St., Conneaut, Ohio 44030.
Memorial contributions in Patricia’s name can be made to Corpus Christi Parish Memorial Fund or to Hospice of the Western Reserve. Envelopes will be available at funeral home.
Patricia’s family would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to the Ashtabula County Nursing Home and Hospice of the Western Reserve for the care and compassion given to Patricia during her stay. Also, a special thank you to the Fralic Family for the many years of kindness and generosity shown to the family.
