Obituary

Perry Gildone, Jr. age 60 died Monday, October 18, 2021, at UH Geauga Medical Center.

Perry was born on August 4, 1961, in Conneaut the son of Perry and Anne Pignotti Gildone, Sr.  Perry was a 1979 graduate from St. John High School and enlisted in the United States Navy where he served until 1982 as a cook.

Perry worked at the Harbor Restaurant, Conneaut News Herald, several factories, and Goodwill Industries.

Perry was a member of Corpus Christi Parish where he served as an usher and volunteered at the church festivals for many years.  

Perry was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his brother Cosmo James “Jim” Gildone (Mary Cunningham) of Conneaut, sister Catherine and Tim Knipp of Westlake and niece Marley Flanigan Knipp and several cousins.

 Mass of the Christian burial will be held Saturday, October 23, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 744 Mill St, with Fr. Phillip Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
