Randy L. Strader

          Randy L. Strader age 66 of Conneaut passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023, at Lake Pointe Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

          Randy was born on November 18, 1956, in Conneaut, the son of Harry and Rosemary Beckner Strader.  He was a 1975 graduate of Conneaut High School.  Following high school, Randy worked on a fishing troller and later became a machinist and retired from PHB Industries after 26 years of service.

          He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and trapping. He was the owner and operator of Randy Strader Sewer Cleaning business.  Randy was always ready to help anyone in their time of need. Randy was also elected to serve on the Republican Committee.

          Randy was preceded in death by his parents, sister Connie Strader, brother Charles Strader and a nephew Kevin Vickery.

          He is survived by his wife Carol Ann Ruby Strader, daughters Regina Welty of Beulaville, NC, Jennifer (Christopher) King of New Bern, NC, grandchildren Evelyn Saunders, Isaiah, Isabella and Christian King, one great granddaughter Aubrey Saunders, brothers Donald (Sandy) Strader of Kingsville, Bill (Sheila) Strader, Houston, TX, Robert (Carly) Strader of Conneaut, sisters Rose Caltrider of TN, Patty Strader and Nancy Nine both of Conneaut.

          Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., concluding with prayers services at 1:00 p.m. at the Raisian Funeral Home, 581 Harbor Street, Conneaut.
