Robert S. McFadden

Heaven got another angel, Robert S. McFadden age 74 of Conneaut on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Saybrook Landing.

Bob was born on November 23, 1946, in Conneaut the son of Robert W. McFadden and Ida M. Clemens Gill.  After high school, Bob enlisted in the United States Army 82nd Airborne Division.  He earned an Associates Degree from University of Phoenix.  Bob was a Class A machinist for 16 years, mechanic and certified electrician.

Bob was very proud of his Native American ancestry.  He was a diehard Cleveland Indians fan, loved woodworking and chocolate.

Bob was preceded in death by his father Robert W. McFadden and two stepfathers, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He is survived by the love of his life Gloria “Maisie” Carbaugh McFadden of 55 years, whom he married August 5, 1966, his mother  Ida M. Clemens Gill. The proud father of Missy (Dennis) DeCamillo, Mindy (Rick) McAllister and Mandy (Joseph) Pagano, brothers Bill McFadden, Dan McFadden, Scott Gill, sisters Delores Wolf, Ella Williams, Rhonda Atwood, Christine Tomko, Diane Urch, Cathleen Denton, Karen Shaffer and Sandy Lane, 18 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, November 1, 2021 at the Raisian Family Funeral Home, 581 Harbor Street, Conneaut.

Funeral services will follow on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with Heidi Cowey of Bella Care Hospice officiating and cremation will follow.
