Robert "Bob" M. White

Robert M. White, age 84, of Conneaut, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at UH Geauga Hospital.

Bob was born on January 20, 1939, in Conneaut, Ohio, the son of Floyd J. and Dorothy Greenwood White. Following high school, Bob enlisted in the United States Army, National Guard, where he served his country until he was honorably discharged in 1964 after eight years of service. Bob worked for many years as a painter and body repairman at Monts Body Shop, Gill Chevrolet, Webb Manufacturing, and later retiring from CW in Conneaut.

Bob was a member of Corpus Christi Parish. He was an avid woodworker and loved to build things. He enjoyed camping, hunting, and the outdoors. Bob played golf and loved to mow his grass, and root for the Cleveland Browns. He cherished his family and grandchildren and he loved to attend their baseball games and follow them as they grew up.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and a brother George White.

He is survived by his wife, Alberta E. (Krause) White, whom he married May 23, 1970, at St. Mary Church, three daughters, Robin White of Conneaut, Brenda Williams of Douglassville, GA, Tricia (Nate) Martin of Corry, PA, five grandchildren, Cindy, Samantha, Cameron, Zack, Taylor, and a great grandchild Samyah, along with one sister Sue Ann White of Arlington, VA.

As per Bob’s wishes, he will be buried at St. Joseph Cemetery, with private family services at the convenience of the family.
