Scott W. Cline age 53 of Conneaut passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022, at UH Conneaut Medical Center following a brief battle with cancer.
Scott was born in Conneaut on April 30, 1968, the son of William J. and Betty J. (Myers) Cline. He was a 1986 graduate of Conneaut High School. Scott was a lifelong resident of Conneaut and a sports enthusiast. He loved to play golf and bowl. He especially enjoyed sporting events with his dad and son Tanner, whom he cherished. Scott was employed at Creative Millworks in production.
Scott was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Fred and Beatrice Cline and maternal grandparents Fran and Marge Myers.
He is survived by his parents William and Betty Cline of Conneaut, son Tanner Cline of Kingsville, sister Vicki and Don Picard of Conneaut, brother Mick Cline of Conneaut, niece and nephew Shon and Adrianna, great nieces Harper and Oaklyn, his fiancé, Sara Forester and her children Logan and Christopher.
Friends and family will gather Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the Raisian Funeral Home, 581 Harbor Street, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. A prayer service at 2:00 p.m. with Deacon Nick Iarocci will conclude services.
With concern for Covid-19 and for the safety of family and friends, the family requests that masks be worn for services.
Scott’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses in the Emergency Room at UH Conneaut Medical Center for the care and compassion given to Scott and family during this time.
