Sharon L. Copeland

          Sharon L. Copeland age 71, a lifelong resident of Conneaut, died Friday, August 6, 2021, at County Club Retirement Center, Ashtabula.

          Sherry was born on November 10, 1949, the daughter of Henry “Hank” and Cecilia Mischka Poore. 

Sherry was a member of Corpus Christi Parish.  She was a volunteer at the Conneaut Human Resource Center for many years, helping so many people at the Conneaut Food Pantry, the Right Track Program, and other programs for those in need.

          She was always in charge of the children in her neighborhood. Sherry’s life revolved around her children and grandchildren; they were the love of her life.  She also loved caring for others and her family.

          Survivors include children Pam (Mike) Koziarski, Dee (Jay) Watson, Mathew Copeland, grandchildren Mikey Koziarski, Alyssa Koziarski, Joe Watson, Jeff Watson, sisters Kay (Jack) Andrew, Jeanie (Skip) Rudler, brothers Randy (Karen) Poore, Mark (Sheila) Poore and numerous nieces and nephews.

          She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lawrence “Boo-boo” Copeland and her brother Reverend Father Charles T. Poore.

          Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Raisian Family Funeral Home, 581 Harbor Street, Conneaut.

          Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 744 Mill Street, Conneaut, with Father   John Sheridan of St. Peter’s Church of Canton, officiating.

          Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Route 20, Conneaut at the convenience of the family.
